Writing is a chore.  But so far topped by a desire to keep track of our process of uprooting our lives and then integrating ourselves in a foreign country -- maybe not so foreign as we are being uprooted back to our ancestral roots.  So here we are in Valencia, learning (re-learning) to be Spanish.  It is quite a journey.

A lot of this is stuff written by the clueless for the clueless.  But I hope the few chosen noobs will find gems in these notes spewn as my family thriftily fumbles through Spain while embracing her vibrant culture and creating plates from her bounty.  We hope to emerge from this experience bringing something good to the table, figuratively and literally...
